There's no 'perfect' 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙚, but if you want to be the best you can possibly be it's vital that you have one.⏰

I took a bit of a set back when Covid hit and fell out of routine with quite a lot of things, including my morning routine.

But I'm back and this is what my typical morning looks like...

Down a pint of water - If I don't do this I know there's a high chance of getting a heachache later in the day. It also sets me up to drink lots of it throughout the day.

Cold shower - I should have put ice cold shower haha. This is the famous Wim Hof technique that's been proven to strengthen the immune system a long with so many more benefits. And it sure does wake you up - similar to the effect of a double espresso!🥶

Stretch & listen - It's proven that if our body is tense that you're a lot more likely to experience stress so stretching or doing a yoga flow should be part of everyone's morning ritual IMO. And the 'listen' bit means a podcast. I love to be inspired by other people's stories first thing and it makes stretching a lot easier.

Gratitude - It's easy to get caught up about the things we don't have, especially during a pandemic. So reminding yourself of the 3-5 things you're most grateful for every day and writing them down bold and clear is a great way of staying positive and also to give you that get up and go, so you can crush the day!

Some days I might have to change the order of this slightly, usually dependant on my kids waking up early but I've been sticking with the above for the past couple of weeks and I feel so much more focused from doing so!👌🏻
