💨 Big claim, but worth a look…

Va**ng cannabis could produce up to 99% fewer harmful chemicals than smoking it 😳

Less benzene. Less formaldehyde. Less of the stuff you don’t want in your lungs.

Yes, the study came from a vaporiser brand… so take it with a pinch of salt 🧂
BUT it lines up with what we already know about lower temps = fewer nasties.

🔥 Burn it = more toxins
🌬️ V**e it = cleaner experience

Not magic. Just science doing its thing.

Va**ng cannabis produces up to 99% fewer harmful chemicals than smoking it, according to a new study by vaporiser manufacturer PAX.

The research, which compared toxic compounds in smoke from cannabis joints with vapour from PAX's own dry herb vaporiser devices, found dramatic reductions across 16 harmful substances, including benzene, formaldehyde and acetaldehyde.

Although the study's self-publication by a company with a commercial interest in promoting va**ng over smoking may suggest bias, the findings align with previous research showing that exposing cannabis to lower temperatures, such as the temperatures used to heat cannabis in hand-held and desktop vaporiser devices, results in fewer toxic chemicals.

Don’t forget this awesome recipe.

🤧🍋🫚🌶✨🍯💧
Not sure what to do when you feel a lurgy starting to lurk?
This is my go to the moment I feel something coming on.

Spicy, soothing and full of goodness. It gives your immune system a proper kick up the backside before that cold can even say “where’s me tissues?”

Merry Jayne’s Go Go Juice
For when you’re feeling rough, run down or full of cold

What’s in it and why it works

🫚 Ginger – about 2 thumb sized chunks, grated
Warming and anti-inflammatory. Brilliant for sore throats and sinuses.

🌶 Cayenne pepper – to taste
This bit is important. The heat helps clear nasal passages and gets everything moving. Only add as much as you can handle. Everyone’s different.

✨ Turmeric – 1 teaspoon
Packed with antioxidants and helps calm inflammation. It’s a golden little all-rounder.

🍋 Lemons – juice of 4 to 5
Full of vitamin C and adds a fresh tang that cuts through the spice.

🍯 Honey – 1 to 2 tablespoons
Soothing on the throat and full of goodness. Go for raw if you’ve got it.

💧 Water – 1 litre in total
Start with 750ml to boil, then top up. Hydration helps the whole thing work better.

How to make it

1️⃣ Grate the ginger and chuck it in a saucepan
2️⃣ Add 750ml water and your cayenne pepper
3️⃣ Bring to the boil then stir in turmeric
4️⃣ Simmer for a few minutes
5️⃣ Take off the heat and add cold water to bring it up to 1 litre
6️⃣ Let it cool a bit
7️⃣ Squeeze in your lemon juice
8️⃣ Stir in the honey once it’s warm but not hot
9️⃣ Sip it warm and let it work its magic

What are your views? Have you managed to cut down on alcohol too?

Researchers in Canada ran a housing program for people with severe alcohol addiction.

Every day, residents could choose between their usual alcohol dose or a cannabis joint. Nobody forced anything. They were simply given the choice.

The result was that people who took the cannabis option drank way less.

Before w**d was available, residents averaged 8 drinks daily from the program. After, it went down to 6.5. For every joint someone chose, they skipped about 2.5 drinks.

This matters because alcohol destroys your liver, heart, and brain. Cannabis has risks too, but they're nowhere near as severe.

When people with serious drinking problems cut their intake by choosing w**d instead, that's preventing real damage.

This challenges everything about traditional addiction treatment, which demands total abstinence.

These folks weren't trying to quit everything. They just wanted safer lives. Having a lower-risk option helped them drink significantly less.

The pattern shows up everywhere. Lab studies, real-world data, even market trends. When cannabis is available, alcohol consumption drops.

This isn't going to cure addiction. It's about giving people choices that reduce harm.

And often, that's exactly what’s needed.
