You build your repertoire without overthinking. Things feel natural. The music flows.

Then, a few days before the performance, everything changes.

Suddenly you're questioning every decision:
Should I change that fi*****ng?
Is this the right tempo?
Should I play that cadence differently?

When the pressure rises, anxiety can disguise itself as "improvement."

The real skill isn't eliminating tension: it's learning to manage it, recognizing which changes genuinely make the music better, and which ones are simply fear asking for control.

With 2 days left before my studio recording, this is exactly the mindset I'm focusing on.

Do you catch yourself overthinking right before an important performance? What's the first thing you start questioning?

🎸 Try this before you play your next melody...

Hum it. Just a simple **"mmm..."** while your fingers are moving.

It might feel weird at first, but it's one of the fastest ways to make your guitar sound more like a voice. It improves your phrasing, strengthens your internal timing, and helps every note feel intentional.

If you can't hum the melody... are you really hearing it?

I use this exercise all the time, especially when I want a melody to feel soft, emotional, and alive.

Have you ever tried humming while practicing? Did it change the way you play? Or what's your favorite trick for making a melody more expressive? 👇

Save this reel for your next practice session and share it with a guitarist who needs to try this.

Just some guitar music so your feed is not only AI content.

4 more days to go in the studio, almost there.

Quick question: should I keep the cuts like this or calm down and have fun only playing and not editing? 🙂🙃

5 days till the recording and actually: not every practice session feels great.

Some days your hands don't respond, your timing is off, your sound isn't there, and you start questioning everything.

The temptation is to stop.

But if you can push through those first frustrating minutes instead of letting them win, something interesting happens. You begin to notice why things aren't working.

Maybe your posture is slightly off.
Maybe you're holding unnecessary tension.
Maybe your nails changed your touch.
Maybe it's something you would've never discovered if you had quit.

Progress isn't made only on your best days.
It's made on the days when you stay curious instead of giving up.

What's the strangest reason you've ever had a "bad playing day"? 👇

In 6 days, I'll step into the studio to record this music.

Every journey begins with a moment of stillness. This piece was born from that feeling—the quiet tension before everything changes, when nature seems to hold its breath.

What does this music make you imagine?

Only 7 days until we start recording the new album. 🎵

Today I made the trip to Lecco to pick up the guitar I'll be recording with.

A huge thank you to for all the support and his incredible craftsmanship.

Four hours in the car is enough to make me want to punch a wall.

Thankfully, the guitar was worth every mile.

Some players connect with a new instrument in a few hours. Others need weeks or even months before it truly feels like an extension of themselves.

With only 8 days left until the studio I still don't have the guitar I'll use for the recording. Is getting interesting. 😅🎸

❓How long does it take you to get comfortable with a new instrument?

Working toward the album recording, but some passages still don’t come out the way I hear them in my head.

There are moments where precision, timing, and feeling don’t quite align yet.

It’s a reminder that the last stretch before the studio is often the most demanding: refining, repeating, and staying honest with the music until everything starts to settle.

9 days to go.

Classical music teaches you one thing above all: determination.

There will always be distractions, setbacks, unexpected tasks, and days when practicing feels impossible. But reaching a good level isn't about waiting for perfect conditions—it's about showing up consistently, staying focused, and trusting the process.

Progress is built one mindful practice session at a time. 🎸

Today’s guitar practice spot: the kitchen. My girlfriend has taken over the studio. 🎸☕

Actually, practicing in different rooms is a pretty useful exercise. Every space shapes the way you hear your sound: some rooms are dry and clear, others are full of low frequencies and natural reverb.

Listening to how your playing changes from one acoustic environment to another can teach you a lot about phrasing and timing. In a more reverberant room, for example, you often need to leave more space between phrases and let the sound breathe, while a drier room invites a more direct and articulated approach.

So today: kitchen acoustics masterclass. 🍳🎶
