China Room - PoliTo

Today, within the 2024 China Room seminar series, Michele Bonino, Francesco Carota, Lidia Preti, and Sofia Leoni present and discuss the draft of the book "Grounding the Belt and Road Initiative. A Guide to the Architecture of the New Silk Road" by Michele Bonino, Francesco Carota, and Sorhab Ahmed Marri.

The proposal will be discussed with the China Room fellows Antonio di Campli and Giorgia Greco, together with the external guests Bernhard Müller - China University of Mining and Technology, Paulina Schiappacasse - China University of Mining and Technology, Francesca Spigarelli - Università di Macerata.

CLIMB-E urban mobility innovation system has been presented at CES - Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas!

The project is part of the cooperation established between Politecnico di Torino - with China Room members from DAD PoliTo - Dip. Architettura e Design and DIST - Dip. Interateneo di Scienze, Progetto e Politiche del Territorio, Italdesign, and Schindler Italia to explore the potential of level 5 urban mobility and autonomy. Architecture and design disciplines contributed to envisioning flexible solutions capable of adapting to different urban contexts, combining street and vertical levels.
