Sometimes I just sit down to think deeply about the issue we keep seeing here in Libya – so many young Nigerian girls are running mad on the streets. It is becoming alarming, and the question on my mind is: what exactly is the cause of this?

Is it because of the trauma and hardship they go through? Is it spiritual attack? Or is it connected to the kind of lifestyle some are forced into just to survive? These are questions that need to be asked and answered because too many lives are wasting away before our very eyes.

But beyond just asking, we need solutions. What can be done to help? How can these girls get medical care, proper counseling, and real support? What is the Nigerian Embassy in Libya doing about it? What about the Nigerian community here. Are we coming together to take responsibility for our own people who are suffering?

This issue cannot just be ignored. These are our sisters, daughters, and fellow Nigerians. I believe it is time we find real answers and work towards real solutions before more lives are destroyed.
