Tableau de mariage

The tableau de mariage is an important element of a wedding setup.
It comes from France, where at the beginning of the twentieth century it was the bride's father's job to welcome the guests into the banquet room, leading them to the tables assigned to them. A practice that soon led to small logistical problems, especially when the guests were numerous. It was therefore decided to replace this role with a real poster, handwritten or printed, placed in the entrance of the room to indicate to guests where to seat.
Since then, the tableau de mariage has spread throughout the world, becoming a real protagonist of the setting. It is usually placed in the aperitif area or at the entrance to the room set up for lunch or dinner.
There are a few simple rules for choosing your tableau:

- It must be in line with the chosen theme;
- Must respect the chosen style;
- It must be in harmony with the color palette chosen for the fittings.

The wedding tableau is in fact considered part of the settings up and for this reason it must be in harmony with everything else.
