A NEW SQUARE FOR GAMEC! Our project of the GAMeC Museum in Bergamo extends to the city with the design of the The stone continuity between the piazza and museum façade also includes the ramps and seating, making the ensemble a precious, durable jewel in the urban fabric.
“The square ends in an oval seating area,” explains Segantini, “creating a void that echoes the building’s oval form and morphs into a large ‘out-of-scale planter’ behind the bench. It’s planted with perennials that bloom variably by season—a soft carpet inaccessible to humans (except for limited maintenance).
This inaccessible garden will be home to greenery and small animals, a reminder that we’re not the Planet’s only inhabitants.”
C+S landscape design emphasizes biodiversity, integrating with the existing greenery and nearby Parco Suardi. All tall trees were preserved where possible, and new ones were added to complete the lines. Vegetation was arranged by sun exposure, planting beds, and growth needs. The planting design features perennials, light grasses, and herbaceous plants that introduce movement, colour, and transparency—providing both aesthetic value and food for animals inhabiting the inaccessible garden. The plant species are self-seeding, low-maintenance, and support a sustainable natural lifecycle. The garden offers both lush blooming seasons and subdued winter beauty. Plants are organized into functional groups: ground covers for sun and shade, tall herbaceous plants, American-style lawn, and accent shrubs.
This ensures a balanced composition of ground coverage, height, and structure—with a consistent aesthetic across all seasons.

RAVARINO MIDDLE SCHOOL: A CLOISTER to socialize and connect with the industry

The new secondary school of Ravarino is a wall inhabited by classrooms that surrounds a large internal and secret garden, onto which all the public spaces of the school overlook: the entrance hall, the laboratories and the spaces for the teachers, which are characterized by intervisibility and transparency, two characteristics that have distinguished C+S’ schools for many years.
The school is equipped with nine classrooms and a series of hybrid spaces dedicated to teaching but which can other activities: IT, chemistry, fashion, music, cooking, which can be transformed into creative laboratories to intercept the entrepreneurial realities present in the neighborhood: the school is transformed in this way into a hub revealing to the kids the network of the local potentials, so that they can put down roots without the need to expatriating, which is a large Italian political problem at the moment.
