A hero’s journey is not the same as your life story.

Most people’s about page has their bio in chronological order. What school they went to, where they worked, etc.

Your website is NOT a LinkedIn profile!

Rather than a long, boring version of your life story, pick one or two events in your life and tell it in detail.

Here’s a good place to start:

Think about what problem you solve. What happened in your life that made you want to solve that problem?

Talk about the before and after versions of that story.

You can see some good examples of this in Shark Tank. The best entrepreneurs have a great story in their pitch.
