How did I get into jewelry design & making?
I was a model for many years, & one of my last jobs was working with a fabulous jewelry house, where this shot was taken, here my love of fine jewelry, already firmly installed by my mother, who was an avid collector, blossomed into designing some pieces for myself.
As I began to consider where life would take me next, following this passion seemed an obvious path. I started small, learning stringing, wire wrapping & basic jewelry skills to make malas for my yoga practice & start a small line, which eventually flourished into a metal smithing course & fine jewelry line to create unique pieces I couldn’t find anywhere else. Jewelry not only for adornment, but as memories & talismans, as well as body jewelry, headpieces, hand & foot bracelets, ear chains & more. In short, jewelry for the goddess in every woman.
