Magnifier Floor lamp by Formafantasma (2016)

This refined floor lamp designed as part of the Delta Collection is a shining example of the Formafantasma duo’s deep understanding of materiality and scale. Solid travertine appears soft and malleable through master stonemasonry. Gilded brass is bent around the stone base and houses the LED for lighting and satinated glass as a diffuser and crowning detail.

Iconic vases model 5673, produced by MVM Cappellin, designed by Carlo Scarpa

The same model was shown in 1926 at the Salon d’automne in Paris and, presented with a glass flower, becoming the symbol of the glassworks.

These two pieces are part of Giustini / Stagetti Modern Design collection and represent the Gallery’s research on historical Murano glass and manufactures.

Vase designed by Carlo Scarpa and produced by Venini ca. 1940.

This intriguing little vase was created by the designer in collaboration with Venini through an innovative process. Light blue sommerso glass is worked with the bollicine technique and gold leafs are enclosed. The result is a sophisticated and beautifully textured glass object.
