Finally I can share the most exciting work of all my life as a sound engineer. Recording Bonovox concert at the San Carlo Theater in Naples, as a part of "Stories of Surrender" docufilm, out today on Apple's platform.
My endless thanks to and Giuseppe Innaro to be the best partners I have ever worked with, together with Daniele and all the local production team.
We handled more than 140 audio tracks simultaneously on 3 synched desks, live mix for cinema troupe, SMPTE Sync, Dante uber-redundant recording, daily deliveries and a few hours of sleep per day, for one week.

Repost • Today Adam and I are taking a break from fixing things to record some sound clips. Up for test we have our Berzerker and active BM9, alongside a couple of refurbished Film Industries ribbon mics with Actifiers, and a Ocula omni mic.

Those of you who know us will also know that we like making gadgets, and we made an alternative top cap for the BM9 which can hold another microphone like the Ocula. Adam calls this the OmniTop which sums it up nicely. You could screw on a mic clip or even a second BM9.

We are now selling the excellent and sensibly priced Ocula mics in the UK through the Extinct website. We will post sound clips very soon!
