On June 17–18, SIGEP China brought together institutions, industry professionals, media and students for two days of networking, education and business opportunities dedicated to the future of artisanal gelato in one of the world's fastest-growing markets.
With China's ice cream market now worth over €12 billion and the artisanal segment growing by 15–18% annually, the opportunities for Italian gelato expertise have never been greater.
From professional sessions with Horeca operators and investors to hands-on workshops at PICH School, the roadshow showcased the culture, technology and innovation behind authentic Italian artisanal gelato.
Organized in partnership with ITA – Italian Trade Agency, Unione Italiana Food, ACOMAG and Gelato World Cup, SIGEP China is another step in the international journey of the SIGEP network, connecting businesses, professionals and high-potential markets around the world.

For the next two days, industry professionals, media, KOLs, students and stakeholders will come together to discover the excellence of artisanal gelato, the Italian frozen dessert, through educational sessions, hands-on experiences, networking opportunities and professional training activities.
A focused project designed to strengthen relationships, promote Italian gelato culture and create new business opportunities in one of the world's most dynamic foodservice markets.
Organized in collaboration with ITA – Italian Trade Agency, UIF, Acomag and Gelato World Cup, the initiative further strengthens the connection between Italian excellence and the Chinese market.
