Italian SuperBattle e QSetup sono lieti di presentare l’auto che guiderà Tarzan Yamada alla Magione SuperBattle: Circuit Legends 2026.

Si tratta della Honda CRX EE8 VTEC di Marco Qu***ia e QSetup, una vettura da circa 850 kg spinta da uno swap Honda Integra B18 da circa 220 CV.
Il suo nome? Cyber CRX.

Non solo per la livrea, ispirata alla leggendaria Cyber Evo, ma per la filosofia con cui è stata sviluppata: essenziale, leggera, funzionale. Sedile singolo, interni completamente bianchi e un approccio tecnico che guarda più alla pura efficacia in pista che alla spettacolarità fine a se stessa. Il nostro rispetto per la piattaforma Cyber evo per il suo creatore Masamichi Takizawa, sono assoluti. L’auto che ha aperto le porte della storia al time attack moderno merita - secondo noi - di essere ricordata anche e soprattutto da progetti tributo come quello di Marco.
Sarà interessante vedere cosa riuscirà a fare Tarzan Yamada su una piattaforma così leggera, diretta e radicalmente diversa dalle vetture più estreme a cui il SuperBattle ci ha abituato.

A settembre, a Magione, scopriremo cosa succede quando lo spirito di Tarzan incontra la Cyber CRX.

Italian SuperBattle and QSetup are pleased to present the car Tarzan Yamada will drive at Magione SuperBattle: Circuit Legends 2026.

This is Marco Qu***ia and QSetup’s Honda CRX EE8 VTEC: an 850 kg machine powered by a Honda Integra B18 swap, producing around 220 hp.

Its name? Cyber CRX.

Not only because of its livery, inspired by the legendary Cyber Evo, but because of the philosophy behind its development: essential, lightweight, functional. A single seat, fully white interior and a technical approach focused on pure track effectiveness rather than spectacle for its own sake.

Our respect for the Cyber Evo platform and for its creator, Masamichi Takizawa, is absolute. A car that helped open the door to the history of modern time attack deserves, in our view, to be remembered also through tribute projects like Marco’s.

It will be fascinating to see what Tarzan Yamada can do with such a light, direct platform, radically different from the more extreme machines SuperBattle has accustomed us to.
