How do Italians survive the heat wave this summer? 🇮🇹

🪟 Closing the shutters completely and many times for the whole day which could lower the inside temperature of their home by ~ 5C

🥘 Pushing lunch and dinner to later times so that they could have everything done in the morning and avoid the hottest times

🏡 Simply staying indoors as much as possible

🚶 If going outside, Italians love walking on the shady side of the street

🏔️ 🌊 Many Italians have two houses: one in a city, and the other one close to some mountains or seaside. They would often move there for the whole summer or spend weekends (at least) away from the city.
