COPRESENCE

**Radio noMade in Arberia @ TMO **
For Copresence, a Manifesta 12 collateral project , during the closing of the biennial, in addition to the performance of sensorial theater proposed in its entirety at TMO the evenings of November 2, 3 and 4th, the noMade collective invites artists, poets, writers, anthropologists and historians who have developed a work around the Arbёreshe culture to meet and share with the public.
The basic idea is the "Sheshi", in Albanian, the square, the public space that was lived in every hour of the day by the inhabitants of the communities that gathered there to exchange practices, words, thoughts, musical notes, joys and sorrows.
"Piazza Arberia" will host different musical and poetic incursions during the 3 days of performance to nourish visitors who are curious about the Arbёreshe culture and thus open spaces for discussion and dialogue also around the theme of migration and integration.
It will also be possible to view the film "Radio noMade in Arberia" and other documentary films on Arbёreshe culture.
Artists and / or collectives working around tradition and popular culture are also invited to participate, in order to reinforce existing bridges with contemporary art.
The theatrical performance "Radio noMade in Arberia" will be played on Friday and Saturday from 18:30 to 23:00 and Sunday from 16:30 to 21:00.
The event is free to participate with a recommended offer of 10 euros.

COPRESENCE kick-off last week was very inspiring; rescue workers, migrants, artists, professors, students and other people involved gathered to talk about their experiences with migration. After all, Palermo is an excellent location for this topic to be researched and to exchange knowledge about, since mayor Leolucca Orlando has a unique view on how to handle migration flows.
The film screenings, talks and sensorial sound installation were used as tools to make the migration topic more accessible and to address it from different perspectives. A report about the outcome of COPRESENCE PART 1: Opening Weekend will be written and published soon, so keep following us and see how art can develop new knowledge.
Thanks to everyone who visited COPRESENCE! For the ones who could not make it: we will continue our film screenings during Manifesta Biennial Palermo at meeting place and restaurant Moltivolti. And we will be back with a new program for the closing event in November! Stay tuned!
