Every hour, 9 people die from AIDS-related causes in the Western Pacific and 18 people are newly infected with HIV.

Each death is needless, each infection can be easily prevented.

While is no longer a death sentence - people living with the virus can enjoy long and healthy lives, but they need access to testing and treatment.

Governments and policymakers must recommit to , and support communities to access prevention, treatment and care .
