Saelf event - NESSUNA FORMA BASTA hosted at Fondazione Sozzani.
The collection FW 26/27 came to life through an installation intertwining fashion, performance, and artistic language, giving shape to the nostalgia of a family memory.

The table, curated by Le Mat Studio, reactivates deep, familial memories through emblematic objects such as family photographs, Sicilian playing cards, and a plate filled with water and oil evoking the ritual of affascinu.
In the background of the installation, a powerful presence constantly observes the scene.
It is the artist Giuditta Vettese with her performance Medusa, through which Saelf entrusted her with exploring the Sicilian ritual of affascinu, a folk practice intended to free those affected by the evil eye. In this sense, the performance becomes a gaze upon the gaze, reactivating gestures, formulas, and postures that many have encountered at least once in their lives — as an act of love from a grandmother or as a heavy, intrusive look from the outside.
