“I don’t get too nervous or feel pressurised,” says Rice, of playing at the
highest level, “but you know how many eyes are on you, and how many people are
watching, especially with England. I feel like we’re the most watched nation in the
world when it comes to football. So when I’m out there putting on the shirt and
playing I know that I’m being watched and my performances will be analysed”.
