🇬🇧 Discover the Cinque Terre and some of the most famous Ligurian and Tuscan cities!

A journey that starts in Tuscany, precisely in Pisa, to slowly ascend the region through Lucca and Viareggio, to the entrance of Liguria; after passing through La Spezia, the very famous Cinque Terre National Park will begin.

🥾 Not only biking in this itinerary but also a lot of trakking, in fact the last day will be dedicated to visiting the Cinque Terre, which will be done entirely on foot to enjoy the landscapes and towns at their best.

🍽 In the trip you will not be able to miss the classic touch of Italian cuisine, in Tuscany the famous "cecina" is recommended and you will also be able to enjoy an entire dinner in a typical trattoria; once in Liguria you will not be able to miss tasting the famous focaccia.

🇮🇹 Scopri le Cinque Terre e alcune tra le più famose città liguri e toscane!

Un viaggio che inizia dalla Toscana, precisamente a Pisa, per risalire lentamente la regione attraverso Lucca e Viareggio, fino all'ingresso della Liguria; dopo il passaggio a La Spezia, inizierà il famosissimo Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre.

🥾 Non solo bici in questo itinerario ma anche tanto trakking, infatti l'ultimo giorno sarà dedicato alla visita delle Cinque Terre che sarà svolta interamente a piedi per godersi al meglio i paesaggi e le città.

🍽 Nel viaggio non potrà mancare il classico tocco di cucina italiana, in Toscana è cosnigliata la famosa "cecina" e ti sarà anche possibile gustare un'intera cena in una tipica trattoria; una volta in Liguria non potrai non assaggiare la celebre focaccia ligure.

🇬🇧 3 things you can't afford to miss on your trip on the Danube Bike Trail!

- The Schlögener Schlinge is a stop on the trip so you won't be able to miss seeing this sight. It is the largest forced meander in Europe and forms a 180° bend in cocnomitance with the municipality of Haibach ob der Donau.

- The Mauthausen concentration camp, built as a fortress in 1938, has since 1940 become part of one of the most tragic events in human history. You can visit it halfway to Ardagger where with a small detour you will arrive at Mauthausen.

- For the culinary part of the trip you could not miss the icon of Austrian pastry, the Sacher Cake! Originating in a hotel in downtown Vienna, today it is one of the best known and most popular desserts. Who must have invented it?🤔

🇮🇹 3 cose che non puoi permetterti di perdere durante il tuo viaggio sulla ciclabile del Danubio!

- La Schlögener Schlinge è una tappa del viaggio quindi non potrai perderti la vista di questo spettacolo. Si tratta del meandro forzato più grande d'Europa e forma una curva a 180° in cocnomitanza del comune di Haibach ob der Donau.

- Il campo di concentramento di Mauthausen, edificato come fortezza nel 1938, dal 1940 è diventato parte di una delle più tragiche vicende che la storia umana abbia mai vissuto. Potrai visitarlo a metà della strada per Ardagger dove con una piccola deviazione arriverai a Mauthausen.

- Per la parte culinaria del viaggio non poteva mancare l'icona della pasticceria austriaca, la Torta Sacher! Nata in un hotel del centro di Vienna, oggi è uno dei dolci più conosciuti e apprezzati. Chi l'avrà inventata?🤔
