🎓 Paper Title: Flexibility Trading Through Load Reshaping in Energy Communities Using Deep Reinforcement Learning.
🔍 - Energy Communities (ECs) play an essential role in the active engagement of end-users and deployment of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and contribute to net-zero carbon emissions.
- In ECs, several entities/homes join to exchange a surplus or demand reduction during peak hours with the grid.
- For this work, a Deep Reinforcement Learning based Multi-Agent Approach is adoped to optimally calculate flexibility from the end user.

'ESR Iram Parvez'
Iram Parvez is an Early Stage Researcher (ESR) specializing in hydrology,machine learning applications in environmental engineering. As part of her research, she focuses on developing advanced forecasting techniques for groundwater level prediction using data-driven approaches. She recently presented her work at the 'American Geophysical Union (AGU) Conference 2024 Washington, D.C' , where she showcased a comparative study on machine learning models, including Support Vector Machines (SVM), ARIMA, and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN-GRU), for predicting groundwater levels in 'Mendatica and Triora, Italy'. Through her work, Iram Parvez contributes to bridging the gap between hydrology and artificial intelligence, advancing sustainable water management solutions.
