Hotel Rivoli

A hidden back courtyard, just beyond the window. Quiet mornings, soft greenery, and the feeling of discovering a more private side of Florence, the one that reveals itself slowly.

In Florence, art doesn’t always ask you to enter a museum.

Sometimes it waits for you at the corner of a street, between historic façades, passing crowds and an artist capturing the city one brushstroke at a time.

Just another ordinary day in Florence. Which, here, is rarely ordinary.

Long before it became Rivoli Boutique Hotel, this was home to a Renaissance master.

Historical records suggest that Benvenuto Cellini lived here between 1540 and 1571. Today, the original entrance to his residence can still be seen in our cloister, beside the pool, leading to what is now Room 406.

Some stays come with a little more history than others.
