Marini Marmi

𝗜𝗹 𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘃𝗼 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗽𝗼𝗹 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝗶 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗼 ha ufficialmente aperto come grande arena multifunzionale per musica, eventi e sport.

Un progetto firmato 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀, sviluppato in collaborazione con 𝗔𝗿𝘂𝗽, pensato per accogliere fino a 𝟭𝟲.𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗲 tra parterre, gradinate, lounges e sky boxes, con una grande piazza esterna che estende la vita dell’arena anche agli spazi aperti.

Per questo intervento, Marini Marmi ha fornito circa 𝟲𝟮𝟬 𝗺³ 𝗱𝗶 𝗖𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗼 𝗱𝗶 𝗚𝗿𝗲́, impiegato in pavimentazioni esterne e interne, gradini e scale in blocchi pieni, oltre che nei rivestimenti di pareti con copertine sagomate.

Una pietra storica dell’architettura lombarda, scelta qui per accompagnare un’infrastruttura contemporanea destinata a diventare un nuovo punto di riferimento nella vita culturale e sportiva della città.

Siamo orgogliosi di aver contribuito a un progetto che unisce architettura, materia e spazio pubblico nella Milano dei prossimi grandi eventi internazionali.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗽𝗼𝗹 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻 has officially opened as a major multipurpose arena for music, events and sport.

Designed by 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 in collaboration with 𝗔𝗿𝘂𝗽, the venue can host up to 𝟭𝟲,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 across parterre, tiers, lounges and sky boxes, with a large external piazza extending the arena’s programme into open-air formats.

For this project, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶 supplied approximately 𝟲𝟮𝟬 𝗺³ 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗼 𝗱𝗶 𝗚𝗿𝗲́, used for external and internal flooring, solid block steps and staircases, as well as wall cladding with shaped coping elements.

A historic stone of Lombard architecture, chosen here to accompany a contemporary infrastructure set to become a new landmark in Milan’s cultural and sporting life.

We are proud to have contributed to a project that brings together architecture, material and public space in the Milan of the next major international events.

Arena Milano, now called @unipoldome, has officially opened as a multipurpose music and events venue operated by @eventimgermany. The opening was celebrated with an official ceremony followed by a concert from Italian rock star Luciano Ligabue. Designed in collaboration with @arupgroup, the arena offers capacity for up to 16,000 visitors across two tiers, parterre and an upper level with lounges and sky boxes, alongside a large piazza extending the programme to open-air formats. Having first opened its doors for the ice hockey competitions of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, the venue now serves as a major destination for live entertainment and sport in Milan.   We look forward to seeing the arena take its place within the cultural life of the city. È anche da qui che passa l’economia circolare: dal recupero del materiale, dalla riduzione degli sprechi e dalla capacità di dare nuovo valore a ciò che può essere riutilizzato.

At first light, the sun reaches the stones still waiting to be used.

Blocks, fragments and materials from the production process await new possibilities of use, within a more mindful vision of the supply chain.

This is also where the circular economy becomes concrete: through material recovery, waste reduction and the ability to give new value to what can be reused.
