Persia Authentic Nomad Tours
Nomads’ Odyssey, April 2025
Mohammad Baqer, a Bakhtiari nomad man who embodies the spirit of the nomad—rooted in tradition yet ever-moving, a solitary figure against the vastness of the mountains, carrying with him the legacy of a life lived in harmony with the wild.
He had traversed these mountains for decades, knowing every hidden path and secret glade. The mountains are not just his home; they are a part of him, as much as the sheep that follow him closely, trusting in his guidance.
His weathered face, etches with lines of wisdom and experience, tells stories of countless seasons spent under the open sky. Dressed in a tattered cloak that has seen better days, he moved with a quiet grace, each step deliberate and sure.

| World Handicrafts Day✨️
On World Handicrafts Day, we celebrate the incredible artistry and craftsmanship of local artists and nomadic communities around the globe. Often hidden away in remote areas, these talented individuals create unique works that reflect their rich cultural heritage and traditions.
Their art, from intricate textiles to stunning pottery, tells stories of their lives and environments yet remains largely unknown to the wider world. Let us shine a light on these artisans, honoring their creativity and ensuring their voices are heard and appreciated.
🔰 Support local crafts and help preserve these invaluable traditions for future generations.
On our way to join the Bakhtiari Nomads’ seasonal migration (K***h), we passed a few ancient cemeteries in the heart of the Zagros mountains 🏔
