World Space Week Iran

World Space Week 2017 in Iran is being launched today with about 30+ events planned in eight cities across the country from October 4-10. This year World Space Week Iran Coordinating Committee selected Saros Science Popularization Team تیم ترویج علم ساروس as the organization to coordinate and support events in Iran. During this week we will inform you about various events across Iran.

Saros Magazine team the winner of the Cheragh Prize in 2016!

Congratulations to Saros E-Magazine which have selected as Science Populizer of The Year in Iran. The award is presented to a group of young people's promoter for the development and promotion of new pathways experience in science, especially in astronomy and space science.

Now some of Saros editorial board are the member of World Space Week Iran Coordinating Committee team. Also during the last year, Saros so helps to coordinate and organize programs in Tehran.

Cheragh or "Light" is the symbol of light against darkness, to be awarded to activists who trying to fight against superstition and ignorance in the way of scientism.
