On 12 February 2026, marking the International Day to Prevent Violent Extremism, the Ministry of Interior of the Kurdistan Regional Government announced the development of a new strategy. The core objective of this initiative is to maintain peace and coexistence in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, a place where many different ethnic and religious backgrounds live together.

The announcement took place at the Ministry of Interior, led by Dr. Hemn Mirani, Director General of Diwan. During the event, the Ministry acknowledged SPARK's guiding role behind the project. This strategy is being developed in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Sparda, the KRG High Committee of PVE, along with several other international organizations and specialists.

Through the Networks of Change II programme, SPARK continues to support government-led efforts to promote prevention, reintegration, and long-term social cohesion, ultimately laying the foundation for lasting peacebuilding and youth prosperity in the region.

لە ١٢ی شوباتی ٢٠٢٦، هاوکات لەگەڵ ڕۆژی جیهانیی ڕێگریکردن لە توندڕەویی توندوتیژ، وەزارەتی ناوخۆی حکومەتی هەرێمی کوردستان پەرەپێدانی ستراتیژییەکی نوێی ڕاگەیاند. ئامانجی سەرەکیی ئەم دەستپێشخەرییە پاراستنی ئاشتی و پێکەوەژیانە لە هەرێمی کوردستانی
عێراق، کە تێیدا چەندین پێکهاتەی جیاوازی نەتەوەیی و ئایینی پێکەوە دەژین.

لە ڕێگەی پڕۆگرامی 'تۆڕی گۆڕانکاری ٢' (Networks of Change II)، سپارک بەردەوامە لە پشتیوانیکردنی هەوڵەکانی حکومەت بۆ بەرەوپێشبردنی ڕێگریکردن، دووبارە تێکەڵکردنەوە و یەکگرتوویی کۆمەڵایەتیی درێژخایەن، کە لە کۆتاییدا بناغەیەک بۆ بونیادنانی ئاشتیی بەردەوام و گەشەکردنی گەنجان لە ناوچەکەدا دادەنێت.

Last week, the University of Raparin’s Psychological and Social Counselling Center team joined students for a workshop on Emotional Resilience and Conflict Management, delivered by professionals from the AVT-L organisation.

These sessions aim to open new channels of communication between students and teachers, making both more approachable and supportive towards one another and their colleagues, while promoting a more positive mindset.

The workshop is part of the Networks of Change education programme, implemented by SPARK and funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

هەفتەی ڕابردوو کۆمەڵێک فێرخواز لەگەل تیمێکی سەنتەری ڕاوێژکاری دەروونی و کۆمەڵایەتی زانکۆی ڕاپەڕین بەشداریان کرد لە وۆرک شۆپێک لەسەر بنیاتنانی خۆڕاگری سۆزداری و بەڕێوەبردنی ململانێ کە لە لایەن پسپۆڕانی ڕێکخراوی ئەی-ڤی-تی-ئێڵ پێشکەشکرا.

ئامانجی وۆرک شۆپەکە بریتیبوو لە کردنەوەی ڕێگای پەیوەندی بەهێز لە نێوان فێرخوازان و مامۆستایان، تا فێرخوازان بتوانن پاڵپشتی یەک بکەن و یارمەتی یەکتر بدەن لە کاتی پێویست و پەرە بدەن بە بیرکردنەوە و هزری ئەرێنی.

ئەم وۆرکشۆپە بەشێکە لە پرۆگرامی پەروەردەی تۆڕی گۆڕانکاری، کە لەلایەن رێکخراوی سپاڕکەوە جێبەجێ دەکرێت و لەلایەن وەزارەتی دەرەوەی هۆڵەندا پاڵپشتی دارایی دەکرێت.

We were proud to join the first Sulaimanyah National Entrepreneurship Summit, organised by the Supreme Council for Youth in Iraq under the Youth Entrepreneurship Programme.

At the SNE Summit, our Networks of Change campaigners showcased how youth-led innovation and community leadership can drive meaningful, locally rooted development. By building stronger connections between the Networks of Change network and local institutions, we are advancing localisation and empowering young entrepreneurs across the region.

During the panel on Youth, Innovation, and Future Skills, we highlighted that young people in the Kurdistan Region can tap into emerging global opportunities from technology to entrepreneurship, and the essential skills required to build a competitive, future-ready workforce.

These discussions further contributed to strengthening the Networks of Change community and expanding the connections between youth, institutions, and innovation actors across the region.

خۆشحاڵبووین بە بەشداریکردنمان لە یەکەم لوتکەی نیشتمانی کارسازی لە سلێمانی، کە لەلایەن ئەنجومەنی باڵای گەنجانی عێراقەوە لە چوارچێوەی بەرنامەی کارسازی گەنجاندا ڕێکخرابوو.

لە لوتکەکەدا هەڵمەتکارانی پڕۆگرامی تۆڕی گۆڕانکاری پیشانیاندا کە چۆن داهێنانی گەنجان و سەرکردایەتی کۆمەڵگا دەتوانێت پەرەپێدانێکی واتاداری ناوخۆیی دروست بکات. بە بنیاتنانی پەیوەندییەکی بەهێزتر لە نێوان تۆڕی گۆڕانکاری و دامەزراوە ناوخۆییەکان، ئێمە بەخۆجێییکردن پێش دەخەین بۆ بەهێزکردنی گەنجانی کارساز لە هەرێمی کوردستاندا.

لە پانێلی گەنجان، داهێنان و لێهاتوویییەکانی داهاتوو، گفتوگۆمان کرد دەربارەی چۆن گەنجانی هەرێمی کوردستان دەتوانن سوود لە دەرفەتە نوێیە جیهانییەکان وەربگرن لە تەکنەلۆژیاوە تا کارسازی و تیشکمان خستنە سەر ئەو لێهاتووییە بنەڕەتییانەی کە پێویستن بۆ بنیاتنانی هێزێکی کاری ڕکابەر و ئامادە بۆ داهاتوو.
