Oral lichen planus (OLP) is a chronic inflammatory condition of the mouth that often appears as white, lacy patches or red, swollen sores. It is thought to be an autoimmune condition, though the exact cause is not fully understood.

التهاب الحزاز المسطح الفموي (Oral Lichen Planus) يُعرف باللغة العربية باسم "الحزاز المسطح الفموي" أو "الالتهاب الحزازي الفموي"، وهو مرض التهابي مزمن يصيب الأغشية المخاطية داخل الفم ويتميز بظهور بقع بيضاء تشبه الدانتيل أو أنسجة حمراء متورمة وقروح مؤلمة، وهو غير مُعدٍ ولكن قد يؤثر على نوعية الحياة ويتطلب متابعة طبية.
