PBSC - Commerce Graduates

Department of Commerce, PB Siddhartha College of Arts & Science Organised a 3 Day Financial Literacy Workshop "Kona Kona Shiksha - A CSR initiative of Kotak Securities " for the final year B.com Students from 16th nov to 18th nov 2022.

Today PB Siddhartha College of arts and science Vijayawada, department of commerce conducted Audit Diwas for the benefit of students community.

CA Nitta Ravi Kishore secretary of Vijayawada branch of SIRC of ICAI was the Guest of Honour enlightened the students. He clearly explained about CAG saying the inception of the Comptroller & Audit General was by the British government in 1860 on November 16 and it is being observed in India since last year and started by central government. He made it clear that it is one of the statutory position given by the constitution.

CAG solely have power to audit the government expenditure and commercial organizations of the government. In India CAG has right to Audit and advise the Government expenditure.

By completing Charted Accountancy you can go for becoming CAG member or start own practice.

CA Gaddam Satyanarayana senior practicing auditor was the Chief Guest who addressed the students.
He clearly explain the role and importance of CAG in protecting the p***c money spent by the government in India. He advised the students to go for CA to have bright future, there is huge shortages of Auditors so students focusing on studies will definitely they can complete the CA Course. He suggested students to go for CA rather than other professional courses like Engineering and other courses because there is no recession in CA profession.

Principal Dr. M Ramesh, director Sri V Babu Rao, Dean prof Rajesh C Jampala, incharge department of commerce Sri k Narayana Rao, addressed and enlightened the students about the importance of audit Diwas.
