The Benaras !! An Oily paradise part 2.

As soon as i landed at Varanasi Airport i was greeted by a fresh air, light cold breeze and to my shock i had dropped my wallet on my seat which with the help of Indigo ground staff they had found it for me and got me my wallet after a wait of half hour. Thanks to the crew and ground staff for helping me find my wallet back.

Our first stop after exiting airport was Sanjha Chula, around 10 KMS from airport. The restaurant was good but the location and build was just too good. It is located on a highway and inside it was built in like multiple small hut structure which fits 2 families to dine or have small gathering with full privacy.

Our meal was the usual Roti, dal and sabzi nothing fancy but Lassi was truly exceptional. Food was of good quality and tasted really good. Service was good too. The fun part of dining there is the privacy it gives you to spend quality time with your family along with cool weather.

Post lunch we checked in at Shree Shyaam VIllas hotel located at Siddhgiri bagh. A decent hotel with small rooms but with really good interiors. All the fittings and amenities were of good quality which actually gave us a little breather, as we had paid around 5k per room per night.

After a little rest we departed for Assi ghat where we were to catch our boat tour of all the ghats starting from Assi Ghat till Namo Ghat. Anyone travelling to Benaras must go for this boat ride. It is truly a beautiful ride. The sight itself is so magical and so calming. I just loved every second spent on the boat. The boat ride included a halt at dashashwamedh Ghat for Ganga Aarti. Ganga aarti is something which you just cannot miss. It was truly a spiritual experience and you felt so light and zen when you hear the mantras and aarti itself. Truly a must do thing in benaras and specially from the boat.

Truly a magical experience !! Trust me , although i might sound like a saint but , when you are there at the ghat and watching and experiencing the Aarti you just feel so relieved and slowly slowly u feel the negatives in you to die down and u start looking at everything with positivity and hope.
