इतिहास में कई मानवीय त्रासदियाँ हुई हैं, जिनके अलग-अलग कारण और प्रभाव रहे हैं। दो ऐसी घटनाएँ—धार्मिक भीड़ भगदड़ और 1756 की ब्लैक होल ऑफ़ कलकत्ता त्रासदी—कुछ समानताएँ रखती हैं, लेकिन परिस्थितियाँ अलग थीं।

🔹 धार्मिक भीड़ भगदड़ आमतौर पर घबराहट, भीड़भाड़ और उचित भीड़ नियंत्रण की कमी के कारण होती है, जिससे लोगों के कुचलने और दम घुटने से मौत हो जाती है।
🔹 ब्लैक होल ऑफ़ कलकत्ता त्रासदी तब हुई जब ब्रिटिश कैदियों को एक छोटे, हवा रहित कक्ष में रातभर कैद रखा गया, जिससे दम घुटने से उनकी मृत्यु हो गई।

एक घटना अनियंत्रित भीड़ के कारण हुई, जबकि दूसरी जबरन कैद का परिणाम थी। दोनों हमें यह सिखाती हैं कि उचित योजना, सुरक्षा और मानवीय ज़िम्मेदारी कितनी आवश्यक है।

History has witnessed various human tragedies, each with its own cause and impact. Two such incidents—religious crowd stampedes and the Black Hole of Calcutta tragedy (1756)—share similarities but stem from different circumstances.

🔹 Religious Crowd Stampedes occur due to panic, overcrowding, and lack of proper crowd control at pilgrimages or festivals, leading to trampling and asphyxiation.
🔹 Black Hole of Calcutta Tragedy happened when British prisoners were confined in a small, airless cell overnight, leading to mass suffocation.

While one is a result of uncontrolled movement, the other was due to forced confinement. Both serve as grim reminders of the importance of planning, safety, and human responsibility.

It is a deeply sorrowful moment for all of us in the tourism fraternity. The passing of Shri Madan Kushwaha Ji on 3rd February 2025 has left an irreplaceable void in our hearts. It is hard to believe that someone so lively, dedicated, and full of human virtues is no longer with us.

Madan Ji was not just a tourist guide; he was a beacon of knowledge, wisdom, and warmth. His passion for education and tourism was unparalleled. With every interaction, he enriched us with new insights, enlightening those around him with his vast experience and deep understanding of our cultural heritage.

His contributions to the tourism sector and his commitment to mentoring and guiding others will always be remembered. His presence brought light and life to countless journeys, and his legacy will continue to inspire us all.

There are no words to truly encapsulate the impact he has had on our tourism stakeholders’ community. His shining personality, generosity, and unwavering dedication will forever remain in our hearts. Though he has left us physically, his spirit will continue to guide and inspire future generations.

With tearful hearts, we bid farewell to a remarkable soul. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

मदन जी केवल एक पर्यटन गाइड नहीं थे; वे ज्ञान, बुद्धिमत्ता और आत्मीयता के प्रकाशस्तंभ थे। शिक्षा और पर्यटन के प्रति उनकी निष्ठा अतुलनीय थी। हर संवाद के साथ, उन्होंने हमें नए दृष्टिकोणों से समृद्ध किया, अपने विशाल अनुभव और सांस्कृतिक विरासत की गहरी समझ से हमें आलोकित किया।

We mourn the passing of Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of India, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 92.

Dr. Singh was a visionary leader and esteemed economist whose transformative economic reforms reshaped India’s future. As Finance Minister in 1991, he introduced pivotal policies that liberalized the Indian economy, fostering unprecedented growth and lifting millions out of poverty.

Serving as Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014, Dr. Singh’s tenure was marked by significant achievements, including the implementation of progressive welfare programs and the landmark civil nuclear agreement with the United States, enhancing India’s global standing.

His unwavering dedication, integrity, and humility earned him respect across the nation and the world. Dr. Singh’s legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
