Day 11/21 challenge 🌸

One year ago, I took a step that quietly changed something deep within me. My first solo trip… and somehow, it wasn’t me who chose Kashi—Kashi chose me. I still remember the feeling..
Walking through the sacred lanes of Varanasi, I wasn’t just a traveler—I was someone searching for a better version of myself. Standing in front of Kashi Vishwanath Temple, I felt a kind of peace I can’t explain in words. At Kal Bhairav Temple, I felt strength. In the presence of Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, I felt protection. And at Durga Temple Varanasi, I felt a quiet comfort, like being held without being touched.
Evenings at Dashashwamedh Ghat, watching the Ganga Aarti, felt like time had stopped—like the universe was breathing in rhythm with the chants and the flames. And then there was Manikarnika Ghat… a place that didn’t just show me life, but also its truth. It made me silent, not out of fear, but out of understanding. Something shifted inside me there—something that words still fail to fully describe.
That journey wasn’t just about visiting temples or places. It was about meeting myself. It was about learning to be alone, but not lonely. It was about realizing that sometimes, the strongest healing happens in silence.
Today, one year later, I carry Kashi within me—in my thoughts, in my calm, in my strength. It has taken a place in my heart that will stay forever… till my last breath.
Some journeys don’t end when you return home… they stay within you, quietly shaping who you become. 🕊️ 🙏🔱❤️
