Sayaji Rao Gaekwad Central Library of Banaras Hindu University has been awarded the Best University Library in India. University librarian Dr. Dewendra Kumar Singh received the ILA Dr. L M Padhya Best University Library Award 2022 presented by the Indian Library Association. The award was presented to BHU at the inaugural function of the 68th Annual International Conference of Indian Library Association taking place at Ajmer, Rajasthan. Founded in 1933, the Indian Library Association is the top association of libraries & library professionals.
