Advancing Women’s Health Through Awareness, Education & Early Detection

Nadkarni Medical Foundation successfully conducted a Cervical Cancer Detection & Women’s Wellness Awareness Camp in Palghar, reinforcing our commitment to preventive healthcare and women’s well-being.

A total of 38 women participated in the camp, out of which 34 women underwent Pap Smear screening, taking an important step towards the early detection and prevention of cervical cancer.

The initiative focused on spreading awareness about cervical cancer prevention, the importance of regular screening, and overall women’s health. Through education and early detection, we continue to empower women to make informed healthcare decisions and prioritize their well-being.

For over a decade, Nadkarni Medical Foundation has been transforming lives through compassionate cancer care and community outreach.

Founded in 2011 with the vision of Late Dr. Purnima Nadkarni, the foundation began by supporting underprivileged patients with IVF treatment and soon expanded its mission to cancer awareness, prevention, and treatment.

From conducting awareness camps in schools, factories, and rural communities to establishing advanced oncology services in Vapi, the foundation has made a meaningful impact across Gujarat and Maharashtra.

Key milestones include:
• Launch of chemotherapy and surgical oncology services in Vapi
• Establishment of the 21st Century Radiation Center in 2019 with the state-of-the-art Halcyon machine
• Opening of the 21st Century Cancer Hospital Aveksha in 2021
• Free treatment, accommodation, and meals for deserving cancer patients every month
