Renowned as the world's first and largest residential university, it attracted scholars from across Asia – China, Korea, Japan, Tibet, and beyond – all seeking its unparalleled wisdom. This marked a turning point, but the embers of knowledge never truly extinguished. Today, the revival of Nalanda University signifies a powerful resurgence.

The new Nalanda University embodies a progressive vision. Spread over 455 acres, the state-of-the-art campus boasts two academic blocks with 40 classrooms, offering a total seating capacity of around 1,900. Two auditoriums, each with a capacity of 300, provide additional learning spaces. Student accommodation caters to approximately 550, fostering a vibrant residential community. Beyond academics, the campus features an International Centre, a 2,000-seater amphitheater, a faculty club, and a sports complex, creating a holistic learning environment.
