SemiBuilding SemiLandscape makes it to The Merit List! Thank you to for setting the valedictory against such a well curated, refreshingly inspiring Frames Conclave.

Excited to be back on The Merit List again this season.
SemiBuilding SemiLandscape has a “playful geometric resolution bringing a sense of surprise and wonder to the exterior form and interior spatial logic” in a “modest house on a small site” with “a roof that makes a large and generous gesture.”

Meanwhile A Home Leftover (awarded TML citation in 2023 cycle) displayed “the strength of what architecture can accomplish- employing rigour and design thinking for spatial richness, dignity and delight,”despite the challenge of resources.

A Home Liberated (awarded TML citation in 2023 cycle) was a “project that presented a fresh paradigm for renewal of ancestral houses in family possession with an extremely restrained and dichotomous design process considering continuity in delicate balance with newness, … nostalgia in an equilibrium with anticipation, and darkness in a balance with light.”
