A home that reveals itself slowly.
Designed for a young family in Trivandrum, the house is approached through a long narrow path between neighbouring homes, where the first glimpse is a vertical facade marked by a pattern of small rectangular glass perforations.

The entry remains low, through a sitout and foyer, before opening into a double height living space with sunken seating. From here, the house continues upward, the stair leading to an expanded intermediate landing that becomes a workspace and library, overlooking the greenery outside.

The facade perforations filter light from the south and east, casting soft rectangular traces across the double height wall through the day.

By day, sunlight drifts in as gentle rectangular patterns across the courtyard wall. By night, the house glows outward, the facade reading as a subtle pixel array within its surroundings.

A shaded horizontal opening and controlled perforations work together to keep the living cool while allowing it to remain open and connected.

White forms the base of the home, with restrained touches of color, light, and texture adding warmth.
