SEO Specialist
Responsible for improving a company's organic search results. Creates and launches SEO campaigns, identifies areas of improvement, runs PPC campaigns, and attempts to improve the company sites rankings in major search engines.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
• Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages
• Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals – general and keyword specific
• Administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, webmaster tools) for purposes of diagnostic reporting on client projects.
• Help to create and support marketing content to socialize and use for social media purposes (e.g. customer videos briefs, customer case studies, blog posts, posts from analysts and customers)
• Implement link building campaigns in coordination with client SEO goals
• Assist in development and ex*****on of communication/content strategies via social communities in coordination with SEO goals.
• Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments.
• Research and administer social media tools in support of clients' social media strategy
• Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, social media metrics, and point out key areas of importance in accordance client goals. Improve a company's organic search results.
• Write effective headlines, body copy, and websites.
• Ensure websites are filled with optimal keywords.
• Place keywords appropriately in copy to gain most search engine traffic.
• Write effective call-to-action statements.
• Write original, powerful SEO content for blogs and websites.
• Keep abreast of white hat and black hat tactics so as not to violate search engine guidelines.
• Adjust PPC campaigns as needed.
• Consult with independent web designers to improve the navigation of a site to enhance its search engine ranking.
• Evaluate product offering, traffic, landing page quality, content, design, security, payment options, shipping options, demographics of prospective customers when determining keywords and campaigns.

• 2 – 3 years experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics, Webmaster toll as well as internal reporting tool
• Experience working with popular keyword tools (Google, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, etc)
• Strong in written and oral communications
• Internet savvy Knowledge of key web analytics metrics is a plus
• Basic HTML and CSS Knowledge is a plus
• In-depth knowledge Of the latest SEO techniques & terminologies is a plus
