Every lasting change begins with a simple vision.
What began with the Bhoomi Pujan over a year ago has today blossomed into a 52-bedded Special Male Dormitory-a space built not just with bricks, but with compassion, hope, and purpose.
Designed to provide comfort, safety, dignity, and a true sense of belonging, this new home reflects months of thoughtful planning, unwavering commitment, and the collective efforts of everyone who believed that our special adults deserve the very best.
On 24th June 2026, this dream was brought to life with the inauguration of the dormitory by our Guest of Honour, Dr. Ashok Gavande. This milestone was made possible through the generous support of Chellaram Foundation, whose partnership has transformed a shared vision into a lasting reality.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Chellaram Foundation for believing in our vision and partnering with us to create better living spaces and brighter futures for our special adults.

On 24 June 2026, ADHAR marked another important milestone with the inauguration of its newly developed 52-bedded Male Dormitory at the Badlapur campus, made possible through the generous support of Chellaram Foundation.
The dormitory was inaugurated by our Guest of Honour, Dr. Ashok Gavande, in the presence of ADHAR Trustees, staff members, supporters, and members of the ADHAR family.
Designed to provide a safe, comfortable, well-ventilated, spacious, and nurturing living environment, the new facility will enhance residential care and support for the special adults residing at ADHAR. More than just a building, it represents a place where residents can live with dignity, a sense of belonging, and peace of mind, while leading happier and more fulfilling lives.
ADHAR extends its heartfelt gratitude to Chellaram Foundation for its trust and partnership in helping create better living spaces and strengthening long-term care for special adults.

The newest favourite spot at ADHAR Satara is our beautiful green recreational space ! Watching our residents laugh, play, walk freely, and enjoy time together on the soft green surface is a heartwarming sight.
For adults with intellectual challenges, such spaces are more than just a place to play, it encourages recreation, social interaction, physical activity, and moments of pure joy.
