The World Veterinary Day is commemorated to honour the veterinary profession.
The theme for The World Veterinary Day is "Veterinarians: Guardians of Food and Health". The day highlights the critical role vets play in food safety, public health, and animal welfare, ensuring safe, sustainable "farm-to-fork" food systems and combating zoonotic diseases and antimicrobial resistance.
To all the veterinarians out there : Thank you so much for all you do, both for the animals and the people who love them. You deal with both sides, and you do a beautiful job at both. We cannot thank you enough.
