1% TDS on crypto transactions will be levied from July 1st. 📣

Here’s what you need to know 🤔

✅ From When? : TDS provisions will be applicable from 1st July 2022 on all cryptocurrency and NFT transactions.

✅ On What? :

➡️ BTC/INR sell order transactions
➡️ Crypto to Crypto transactions - Both Buy and Sell;
➡️ No TDS will be levied on Crypto and INR Deposits and Withdrawals.
➡️ No TDS will be levied on INR purchase transactions.

✅ What Else? : The Deducted TDS can be adjusted/ claimed as a refund while filing Income tax returns. You will receive a TDS certificate (16A) from the Exchange periodically.

👉 Note: No TDS will be applicable to International users
