In view of the recent judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India holding that the Government is competent to exclude candidates possessing higher qualifications from consideration for a post, all Holder candidates who were within merit in the recently concluded Junior Engineer (Civil) examination are requested to contact me.

The objective is to collectively explore the possibility of approaching the Hon’ble Court to seek parity in application of the same benchmark in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, so that the legitimate rights and employment prospects of Diploma Holders are duly protected.

Interested and affected candidates may get in touch at the earliest so that appropriate legal recourse can be considered in a coordinated manner.
