Heartbreaking loss in Kishtwar!

A tragic cloudburst in Chasoti has claimed over 46 lives today... including two brave CISF personnel... and left many injured and missing. The devastation is profound as a langar and structures collapsed amid raging floods.

Our rescue teams and volunteers are working against time; control rooms are operational, help has been mobilized, and dignitaries have offered their support. Independence Day observances have been scaled back in response to this calamity.

My deepest condolences to every affected family. Let us stand together in grief, prayer, and aid.
