The spirit of freedom echoed across the Kashmir division as all Gamma Units of the Forest Protection Force celebrated Independence Day with unparalleled zeal and zest.
From the farthest posts to the heart of the valley, the Tricolour was hoisted high, symbolizing our unwavering dedication to the nation. The proud FPF contingent also made its mark at the main function in Bakshi Stadium, adding to the grandeur of the celebrations.

The celebrations across Kashmir Division on the eve of the 78th Independence Day were marked by a series of colorful events, showcasing the region's unity and patriotism. All FPF Gamma Units actively participated, demonstrating their commitment to the nation's security and environmental conservation.The highlight of the celebrations was the participation of the FPF contingent in the main function at Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar. This event, held in the heart of the city, was a focal point for the Independence Day festivities. The stadium was adorned with vibrant decorations, and the atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm as various contingents, including the FPF, took part in the parade and other ceremonial activities.The FPF contingent's presence at Bakshi Stadium symbolized the importance of their role in protecting the region's forests and natural resources, even as they contributed to the broader celebration of the nation's independence. Their disciplined march and the display of their commitment to duty were a testament to the strength and dedication of the FPF.
Several functions & flag hoisting ceremonies were conducted at all Unit Headquarters including Delta HQ of FPF - Kashmir.

Today International day of Forests 2024 was celebrated all over the world on the theme " *Forests & Innovation"...*
In J&K UT main function was organised in SKICC Srinagar where different wings of Forest department participated.
Forest Protection Force Kashmir through all Gamma units organised different programmes viz. plantation drives, awareness programmes, Green Marches etc on the day across the Kashmir division to spread the message regarding the importance of forests.
