After recent amendments, the reservation quota for different categories in government jobs in Jammu & Kashmir is as under:
VERTICAL RESERVATIONS
• 10% to Gujjars & Bakerwals
• 10% to Pahari, Paddari, Koli, Gadda
• 08% to Scheduled Castes
• 08% to OBCs
• 10% to RBAs
• 10% to EWS
• 04% to ALC/International Border
+HORIZONTAL
• 06% to ex-servicemen
• 04% to physically handicapped
30 % to open merit 🙃🙃🙃😥😥😥
After seeking a roster from the Social Welfare Department, J&K PSC and SSB will start the process of recruitment against more than 10,000 vacancies after expiry of the model code of conduct in June 2024.
