Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is a significant Islamic holiday celebrated worldwide. It commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son Isma’il (Ishmael) as an act of obedience to God’s command. However, before the sacrifice could be completed, Allah provided a ram to be sacrificed instead. This event signifies the importance of faith, obedience, and the willingness to make sacrifices in the name of God.
