Cachar's guardian minister Ashok Singhal visited the district today. He claimed that there are Jihadi activities in Barak Valley.

"One person was arrested in Bengaluru who stayed in Cachar for two years, which shows that this area is being used as a practice ground by Jihadis from Bangladesh," he said.
