After crossing 72 years of age, my mom still watch all the cookery shows. I asked her one day 'Mom, I know that you are an expert in cooking and also you have 55 years of cooking experience. The dishes you make are awesome and jaw dropping. But why do you watch these shows to waste your time'. Mom answered, 'Two things. One to correlate that what ever I am doing is right and the second one is to learn new dishes that are not in my days'. I saw a point over there and immediately hugged my mom. Possessing huge experience doesn't mean that one has world of skills. Based on time to time, we need to update our skills and correlate with others to self examine that we are on par with the industry expectations. After accumulating experience, many think that it is waste of time to attend meetings, training, workshops etc. Leadership is always two ways of learning.
