A bedroom designed for a member of the family who appreciates thoughtful detailing, an old soul in their thirties with refined taste and an eye for timeless design.

The black and white palette was chosen to create the perfect balance of neutrals, softened with hints of sunshine through the lamps and drapes that gently warm the space.

An imposing poster bed with 8-foot-high posts brings in a sense of vintage old-world charm, while the flowing drapes add just the right amount of drama and romance to the room.

A few years ago, I took a step back from the rush of everyday life and went on a sabbatical for 3-4 years to focus on something deeply personal - building our villa in Goa.

We named it Trabalho De Amor, which translates to “Labour of Love,” because every corner of this home was created with intention, patience, and heart. From the architecture and materials to the smallest details, it became a journey that taught me creativity, resilience, and the beauty of slowing down.

What started as a dream slowly turned into a space filled with warmth, stories, and soul….

Today, I finally feel ready to share glimpses of Trabalho De Amor…. not just as a home, but as a chapter of life that means so much to me.
