As we stand at the cusp of marking six incredible years of Amche Mollem, this feels like a moment we need to pause, breathe deeply and reflect.

Over these years, this movement has carried all of us through so much. We have witnessed immense beauty and painful losses, together.

We have celebrated victories, sat with grief, lost our loved ones, built friendships, stood shoulder to shoulder through exhausting days, and continued showing up for our forests and for each other.

What began as resistance grew into something far larger, a living citizen movement held together by care, courage, community, and an unwavering love for Goa.

Through every march, meeting, artwork, song, legal battle, conversation, and act of solidarity, people pour their energy and hope into keeping this movement alive.

And because of that, it still thrives today.

We’ll be taking a pause on our social media pages over the coming days and reflecting on the extraordinary journey this movement has taken us on together.

Before stepping into another year of continued resistance and collective dreaming, this is a moment to look back at how far we’ve come and forward to the future we are still fighting to build, a Goa full of her forests, rivers, biodiversity, and it’s beautiful communities of people that refuse to give up on one another.

Stay tuned for updates as we step into our 6th year of Amche Mollem.
