Innovators In Health

On World TB Day, Innovators in Health (IIH) joined the global movement to end Tuberculosis. Under this year’s theme, "Yes! We Can End TB," our teams across three districts of Bihar engaged in comprehensive field activities to strengthen awareness and enhance diagnostic reach.
From conducting awareness rallies with PHC staff to hosting educational sessions in local schools to sensitize the youth. To ensure early detection, we organized robust screening camps across PHC, HWC, and community levels, including the successful launch of NPOC swab testing at the community level in Samastipur. Furthermore, we were honored to facilitate representatives from local Milk Cooperatives for their vital role as Ni-kshay Mitras in providing essential nutritional supplement (Milk) to People with TB (PwTB), reinforcing our commitment to a TB-free future through innovation and partnership.

On 8 Feb 2026, we organized a special visit for children of team members to Udaan — Children’s Literature Festival at Bihar Museum, Patna. 📚
The experience sparked curiosity, love for books, and joyful learning, while also supporting employee wellbeing and family engagement. Grateful to PRAYOG - Professionals Alliance for Youths Growth for organizing this enriching festival for young minds.

A 3-day training & validation program on LAM extraction and PATHFAST assay was conducted at the DR-TB Lab, Darbhanga (27–29 Jan 2026) by Mr. Motonobu Alizuki and Mr. Hiroki Kano from PHC Corporation, Japan. This initiative aims to evaluate sputum-based LAM testing for treatment monitoring in persons with DR-TB across four districts of Bihar. 🤝 A collaborative effort by Stop TB Partnership, PHC Holdings Global, Innovators In Health, REACH India , and DRTB Lab Darbhanga.

IIH had the opportunity to host Shri Rajnikant Chaudhary, Personal Secretary (आप्त सचिव) to the Cabinet Minister, Govt. of Bihar, Shri Vijay Kumar Choudhary. During the visit, he learned about IIH’s deep-rooted community work and expressed willingness to support people with TB currently on treatment in and blocks as a , with facilitation support from IIH and the Samastipur District TB Centre.
The visit also included an interaction with our tele-counselling team, whose work in providing counselling support to every PwTB associated with IIH across three districts of Bihar was deeply appreciated by him.
