In recent android update (updates for WebView) there is a bug due to which many apps are crashing down.
To fix this issue one need to manually uninstall the WebView update.

Here are the steps: Go settings > apps > tap the three dots in the top right corner > show system apps > search for Android System WebView > select Uninstall updates.
